New bus shelters for Wood Street

As part of the regeneration of Stratford town centre new bus shelters are this week being unveiled in Wood Street.

The shelters, manufactured by Macemain and Amstad, have been installed following discussions between Warwickshire County Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

The two authorities worked together to ensure the new shelters both met the needs of the bus travelling public, and enhanced the future appearance of the town centre as part of the World Class Stratford scheme.

Already feedback is coming in from the public on the new shelters, and following comments from local people about the seating; this could be altered in the near future.
