Business bosses interview pupils
Year 10 students from Higham Lane School in Nuneaton are enjoying a full week of interview practice.
Thanks to partnership working between Warwickshire County Council and the business community the pupils at Higham Lane School will be enjoying the luxury of a ‘Practice Interview’ next week.
They will previously have received a Student Guidance Pack, which explains the purpose of the interview and gives the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.
The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as part of their commitment to preparing young people for their adult working life.
Local businesses attending to interview the students include the Army, DHL Exel, Land Rover, Xoserve, Meggitt Braking Systems, Galliford Try, Griff House, the RAF and RS Components.
