Harbury bridge consultation
A consultation has launched to find a permanent solution to protect Harbury Station Bridge.
It comes after a 7.5 tonne Temporary Weight Restriction was put in place in September 2007. Warwickshire County Council is asking local farmers, residents and all others affected by any proposed changes for their views by Monday 23 June 2008.
There are three options for consultation:
A) Make the temporary weight restriction permanent and position vehicle barriers on bridge approaches
B) Revert to the road narrowing with traffic signals scheme
C) Construct a new footbridge to allow room for extra edge protection on the existing bridge
