Public invited to question Community Protection Scrutiny Committee

The Community Protection Overview and Scrutiny Committee will be meeting at Shire Hall on 17 June at 2.15pm with the public invited to attend and ask questions.

30 minutes of the meeting has been allocated at the start for question time.  Members of the public may ask two questions and can speak for up to three minutes on each topic.

To be sure of receiving an answer to an appropriate question, any member of the public looking to ask a relevant question should contact Jean Hardwick of Warwickshire County Council on 01926 412476 before the meeting so that staff and members are aware of the matter they are looking to discuss.

Cllr Richard Chattaway, chair of the committee, said:  “Question time is useful for members of the committee and members of the public alike, allowing questioners to have a frank response to any concerns they might have.  And it is helpful to the function of the committee if we have an overview of the issues that are important to the public and how they are affected by them.”
