Olympic challenge for gifted pupils
Gifted and talented students from Manor Park Community School, Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College, Heart of England School (Solihull) and Higham Lane School have come together to undertake an Olympic Challenge.
The event, organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, included the students working together to design an innovative project to put Nuneaton on the map as a visitor attraction in relation to the 2012 Olympics.
The students were supported by business representatives from the area and were also be able to ‘buy’ expertise from consultants representing the borough and county councils.
The event was organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as part of their commitment to preparing young people for their adult working life.
