Farewell to Irene
Bedworth Community Support Services, part of Warwickshire County Council’s Day Service provision for adults with learning disabilities, bid a fond farewell to Irene Tyler who has worked there as Team Administrator for the last 22 years
Irene said:
“I have enjoyed my work and I’ve seen many changes over the years. I have worked with a number of different Managers and all have bought their own style of management so I have needed to be flexible. It has also been great to see so many people who use the service, develop new skills and work towards becoming more independent. I will miss all the people who use the service as well as staff and parents and carers.”
Claire Batsford, Bedworth Community Support Service Manager said:
“It has been a pleasure to work with Irene, she is a mine of information and will be greatly missed by everyone. We wish her well and hope she enjoys her retirement.”
Irene wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for all the lovely gifts she received and for making her last day such a memorable one.
Irene added that she plans to do some part time work, but wants the flexibility to travel and spend time with her three, soon to be four grandchildren.
