Young Parents views wanted
Young Parents across Warwickshire are being invited to share views on their experiences of having a child at an early age.
Warwickshire’s Respect Yourself Campaign have organised a free consultation, pamper and activities event to give Young Mums and Dads an opportunity to talk about issues including childcare, ante-natal/post-natal services, and housing and benefits to name a few.
The event, called Big Mouth, will take place at The Playbox Theatre in Warwick on 25 November between 10am and 3pm.
Free beauty treatments and pampering, fun activities for you and your child and free crèche facilities will also be available during the day.
Kathy Siddle, ‘Respect Yourself’ Campaign co-ordinator, said: “It is important for young parents to have their say on the services they use and this event gives them the perfect opportunity to do so.
“The feedback received will help professionals shape services for the future, further strengthening what is already available across the county.”
A free buffet lunch will be provided for the parents whilst children will get a lunch box with a choice of sandwiches. Free transport is also available. Places at this event are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you would like to attend please contact ‘Respect Yourself’ co-ordinators Helen Fielden - on 07825 341052 or email helenfielden@warwickshire.gov.uk - or Kathy Siddle - on 07920 071197 or email kathysiddle@warwickshire.gov.uk - by 26 September.
Please note: We can’t provide milk, bottles or baby food - please bring your own. However, you will be able to warm milk and food at the venue.
