Business bosses interview pupils

Year 11 students from The Coleshill School are next week having their interview skills put to the test by some of the region’s top business bosses.

The aim of the exercise is to work with young people and help ensure that they are better prepared for the world of work when leaving school.

They will be having the ‘Practice Interview’ sessions from Monday 22nd September to Wednesday 24th September.

All the pupils will previously have received a Student Guidance Pack, which explains the purpose of the interview and gives the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.

The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, who organise various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.

Local businesses attending to interview the students include the Army, University of Warwick, Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel, Jaguar Land Rover, Celanese Acetate, Warwickshire County Council and the RAF.
