Half-term cycle training in Leamington

Young cyclists will be able to brush up on their cycling skills and boost their confidence on the roads thanks to a training course during this month’s half term holiday.

Warwickshire County Council’s Road Safety team is running courses throughout the county, and hoping for a good take-up in Leamington. 

Courses for the central area will take place at Warwickshire College in Leamington Spa.

On-road training, which includes an assessment, for children aged 9 years and over (in Y5 or above), will run on Monday and Tuesday 27 and 28 October from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The cost is £20 per pupil.

Training for young/new cyclists aged 7 to 9 on will take place on Thursday, October 30, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and costs £13. Pupils successfully completing the course will receive a certificate.
