New business for Camp Hill

Europe’s largest supplier of accessories and spares for holiday homes is to move its base to Camp Hill in Nuneaton.

The move brings more than 30 jobs to the new Century Park development on the former Midland Quarry off Tuttle Hill in Nuneaton.

Arleigh International plans to begin its move onto the site in November, and expects to be fully operational by the end of the year.

Cllr Chris Saint, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, said: “This company is moving to the area with plans for future expansion, which is good news for the local economy. They currently employ 31 people, but have plans to expand to between 37 and 41 people over the next five years.

“The county council is working hard to try and create local employment opportunities on developments such as Century Park by helping the private sector to access European and regional funds.”

Phil Roberts, partnerships director at Advantage West Midlands, said the new jobs were excellent news for the continuing regeneration of Camp Hill.

“Advantage West Midlands is investing £13.5 million in Pride in Camp Hill and through partnership working there is a real sense of gathering momentum.

“New houses, community facilities and training opportunities for residents are helping to forge a brighter future.”

Arleigh International has, for more than 40 years, offered the extensive range of holiday home accessories and spares.
