PHILLIS comes to Southam!

People from Southam are being invited to come along and find out more about alternative health and get advice on how to stay living independently.

The event is talking place on Saturday 8 November, 2.30pm at the Graham Adams Centre, Southam. The aim of the event is to encourage people in their early 50’s to think about their future health and learn more about what they can do to reduce the chances of them losing their independence later in life.

The activities are part of a pilot scheme being run by PHILLIS, a service provided by Warwickshire County Council, which helps people over 50 to live independently.

Sian Sansum, Service Broker- Stratford on Avon District: "We want to make sure that everyone is reminded that PHILLIS is a service for anyone who is 50 plus and offer them the chance to take part in some true prevention activities, running in different venues in south Warwickshire.

"We hope that the event in Southam will provide people with a real insight into alternative therapies, but more importantly we hope they enjoy it.”
