PHILLIS comes to Alcester!
People from Alcester are being invited to come along and find out more about arthritis and how to live with the condition.
The event is talking place on Wednesday 12 November, 2pm at the Greig Hall, Alcester. The aim of the event is to encourage people in their early 50’s to think about their future health and learn more about what they can do to reduce the chances of them losing their independence later in life. The activities are part of a pilot scheme being run by PHILLIS, a service provided by Warwickshire County Council, which helps people over 50 to live independently.

“We want to make sure that everyone is reminded that PHILLIS is a service for anyone who is 50 plus and offer them the chance to take part in some true prevention activities, running in different venues in south Warwickshire. We hope that the event in Alcester will provide people with a real insight into arthritis, but more importantly we hope they enjoy it.”
