PHILLIS comes to Gaydon!
People 50+ from south Warwickshire are being invited to come along and find out how to look after their eyesight.
The event is talking place on Saturday 15 November, 1.30pm at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon. The aim of the event is to encourage people in their early 50’s to think about their future health and learn more about what they can do to reduce the chances of them losing their independence later in life. The activities are part of a pilot scheme being run by PHILLIS, a service provided by Warwickshire County Council, which helps people over 50 to live independently.

“We want to make sure that everyone is reminded that PHILLIS is a service for anyone who is 50 plus and offer them the chance to take part in some true prevention activities, running in different venues in south Warwickshire. We hope that the event at the Heritage Motor Centre will provide people with a real insight into eye health awareness, but more importantly we hope they enjoy it.”
