Last chance for Bidford Youth Centre ideas

Time is running out for young people to have their say on services they would like to see included in a planned refurbishment of Bidford-on-Avon’s Youth Club.

The Bidford Youth Action Group has setup an online survey to ask 9 to 19-year-olds about their future needs, and gives them a chance to choose three items they would most like to see at the club if it is redeveloped.

The online ‘wish-list’ includes a sound system, Coffee Bar, Sony PS3, LCD TV, outdoor football courts and a quiet area – with the three most popular being considered by the Bidford Youth Action group.

Cllr Izzi Seccombe, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Children, Young People and Families, said: “This survey allows young people in Bidford-on-Avon to have their say in shaping future services at their youth centre and to do something positive for the community.“

The survey is available until 28 November 2008 at http://www.wpthezone.co.uk/bidford.
