County Council asks for online opinions

Warwickshire County Council is seeking views from residents on how it can improve its online services.

It has launched an online survey for members of the public who have the chance to win £100 worth of Amazon shopping vouchers just for taking part at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/websurvey

The aim of the survey is to find out more about people’s preferences on how they access online services, what online services they use and how they would prefer to access county council services online.

The survey is being launched in response to the changing face of how the public communicate and access services.

Tim Dumbleton, Warwickshire County Council’s E-Communications Manager, said: “Warwickshire County Council is aware that there is rapidly increasing access to the internet and improving knowledge and awareness of online services from residents across the county.

“People’s expectations are changing, and we want to hear from the public so that we can understand what changes we need to make to deliver improved and more flexible online services.”

The survey is open until December 31 and the results will be analysed by the county council’s web team in the New Year.

The county council has a track record of being successful in meeting government targets for online services and has also been nationally recognised in winning industry awards.

Many of the council’s services are now available through the website at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk
