Trees to be removed for safety reasons
Work is to be carried out on New Year’s Day to remove 17 dead and dying dangerous poplar trees from Leamington’s Princes Drive Household Waste Recycling Centre.
In total there are 25 trees growing next to the public area and experts from Warwickshire County Council’s Forestry Section say the trees have to be removed for health and safety reasons.
The work is to take place on New Year’s Day to cause minimum disruption as the site is not open to the public. The remaining trees will be removed at a later date.
