Have your say on equality and diversity issues that affect you!
Warwickshire County Council is asking residents about the equality and diversity issues they face in Warwickshire and what they think should be done to resolve them.
All of the findings will be fed into the Council’s new Single Equalities Scheme which aims to break down how equality duties within the county are met focussing on key issues such as race, gender, disability, age, sexuality and religion or belief.
Corporate Equality & Diversity Adviser, Suranjana Lall said: “It is essential for us to hear the views of the local community on equality and diversity issues, how they feel they need to be addressed and how that can be achieved.
"The questionnaire is a great way to get some of those views, but we are happy to come and talk to local community groups or forums to ascertain what we are doing right as a council and how we can improve.”
A questionnaire is available on-line at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/equalities The deadline for completed questionnaires is Friday 27 February. Alternatively visits can be made to community groups and forums. For further information on equality and diversity please call 01926 412497 or 418017.
Completed questionnaires can be e-mailed to corporateequalities@warwickshire.gov.uk Alternatively send them to Corporate Equalities & Diversity Team, Warwickshire County Council, Shire Hall, Warwick, CV34 4RR.
