Local people are being given the chance to target action in their own neighbourhood at a series of local events.
Residents living in North Warwickshire are being encouraged to give their views and opinions at consultation events this month, to identify what is important to them locally and help create a pledge to tackle local priorities.
Anything from education to unemployment or potholes could be discussed at each consultation session. Residents will be invited to give their thoughts and share their concerns with representatives from the borough and county councils.
The views of residents will be taken into account as a Locality Pledge for each area is developed. The pledge will summarise the key priorities that local people would like to see achieved over the next 12 months. The consultation exercise will also feed into the development of the new North Warwickshire Sustainable Community Strategy which will set out the vision and priorities for an improved quality of life for North Warwickshire residents over the coming years.
All are welcome to attend the consultation sessions which will take place before local Area Forum meetings being held later this month across the borough.

As part of the consultation sessions, residents will get to learn more about their local area – including unemployment levels, educational attainment and crime figures, as well as how North Warwickshire compares with other parts of the county. Residents can highlight specific issues and highlight what they do and do not like about their local area.
The consultation exercise builds on information already collected from previous local consultations around the issues and priorities that are important to people in their local area.
