County Council set budget for Warwickshire residents

Warwickshire County Council has agreed a 3.89% council tax rise, which will mean an increase of £42.20 (or 81p per week) for residents living in band D properties.

Warwickshire County Council’s budget has two elements:
* A revenue budget, which includes spending on the day-to-day running of services.
* A capital programme, which includes spending of lasting value. For example land and buildings.

WCC budget setting is the main element of the council tax. The final council tax will include additional elements of budgets set by Warwickshire Police, District and Borough Councils and Parish Councils.
