Creativity for the community

There’s a chance for people in Warwick District to try out their creative skills next week as part of World Community Arts Day celebrations.

Professional artists will be leading a number of activities across Leamington and Warwick on Tuesday 17 February as part of the global event, which aims to use art as a ‘catalyst for caring and sharing’.

Bath Place Community Venture in Leamington, the Sydni Centre in Sydenham and the GAP in Warwick are hosting the sessions organised by SPAN (Sustainable Partnership Action Network) and funded by Warwickshire County Council’s County Arts Service.

The day provides a free opportunity for people to get involved in a local art project, creating fun and exciting artwork with other members of the community.

For more information regarding times and events, please contact Karen Higgins of SPAN on 0845 051 1170 or Kate Cliffe (Manager of Sydni Centre) on 01926 422 071.
