Clifton pupils have the X Factor

The music industry is coming to Clifton on Dunsmore Primary School on Monday as pupils discover who has the X Factor.

On Monday March 16th Year 6 pupils will be looking at how the music industry promotes it’s musical talent when they take the ‘X Factor Challenge’ organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council.

The pupils will design CD covers, T Shirts and badges to market their new pop sensation and will present their designs and promotional ideas.

Helping the students to work as a team, keep to their budget and work to tight deadlines will be representatives from design company KD&A, also
Asda, Construction Industry Consultants and Rugby Rokeby Lions.

The day is designed to give young people a clearer understanding of the skills needed in the world of work and the professions that could be open to them.

Working with people from the business community gives the children first hand experience of life after school.
