Guess Who has landed at Rugby Library?

Families of Doctor Who fans are invited to ‘egg-sterminate’ during the Easter holidays for a morning of fun based on the popular television series.

Doctor Who Day takes place on Wednesday 8th April 2009 at Rugby Library between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Organised by Warwickshire County Council’s Library and Information Service, Doctor Who Fun Days are now becoming established as a great time out for the whole family.

Children, their parents and carers are invited to don their Dalek outfits and take part in the fun at Rugby Library including
Fancy dress competition – dress up as your favourite alien or Doctor Who character (judging at 11.30am)
Activity sheets/Doctor Who website and more
Family treasure trail
Make your own Dalek or ‘Ood’ to take home!

The event is for children, plus their parents and carers, and the cost is £2.50 per child.

There will also be a chance to win tickets for the Dr Who exhibition at Coventry Transport Museum. Those buying tickets in advance will get a family quiz to bring back on the day.

All correct entries from Rugby and the later session at Bedworth Library will be entered in a prize draw for a family ticket at the Doctor Who exhibition. The displays at Coventry Transport Museum feature a myriad of monsters and visitors can get up close to actual props and costumes from the hit BBC programme and come face to face with some of the Doctor’s mightiest foes.
