Changes to the 222 bus service in Stratford
Warwickshire County Council has announced some timing changes to the morning and afternoon peak journeys on the 222 bus service in Stratford upon Avon.
It serves the Trinity Mead and Bridgetown estates in Stratford, and the revised timetable for the service, which is operated for the council by Johnsons Excelbus will start on Monday, 6 April.
Currently there are seven journeys into town from the first one at 0653, then at 0713, 0733, 0753, 0818, 0843, 0913 until the one at 0938 when the frequency settles into an every 20 minutes pattern. This will become six journeys at 0653, 0723, 0803, 0823, 0853, 0918 and 0938.
The first journey after 0900 when the concessionary travel passholders can travel free will change from 0913 to 0918. The current 20 minute frequency pattern during the day from 0938 continues at present through to 1738. With the revised timetable the 20 minute frequency will continue up until 1518, then change to a 30 minute frequency until 1813.
