Young People’s Club running on waste oil
Thanks to a grant from Building Sustainable Neighbourhoods BSN (a Warwickshire County Council regeneration project), Nuneaton Club for Young People are running their minibus on bio diesel.
This is a great opportunity for the club to become more sustainable, helping local businesses in Nuneaton with their waste products. It also means the young can access and enjoy more activities, because of considerably reduced transport costs.
Cllr June Tandy, Chair of BSN Management Board, said: ”l was extremely pleased to attend a demonstration of the bio diesel process and it’s certainly an excellent way of protecting the environment.”
