Training perfect prefects

Pupils in Rugby will be getting to grips with some new responsibilities in the coming week as they learn how to become perfect prefects.

Year 10 students at Bilton School will be learning about their new roles as school prefects and how to manage their new responsibilities when they take part in a ‘Management Training for Prefects’ day on Tuesday.

Organised and delivered by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, the event will encourage the students to look closely at their roles, how they can support the school, the responsibilities of being an ambassador and role model and how the prefect team can best work together to gain results.

The students will take part in discussions, role play and team building activities used in business to help them understand the skills they will need to meet the challenges of their new roles.

Warwickshire Education Business Partnership works with many local schools to try and ensure pupils are better prepared for the world of work.
