Your county wants to help you!
Adults from across South Warwickshire are invited to find out more about the activities and services that are available to them.
Organised by Warwickshire County Council’s Adult, Health and Community Services, the Customer Information Event is free and takes place from 10am to 1pm on Thursday 30 April at the Saltway Centre, Alcester Road, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The event, which is aimed at all adults in South Warwickshire will highlight services which aim to improve quality of life whether you want to keep healthy thanks to PHILLIS, keep safe thanks to the Fire Safety Team or even keep the past alive thanks to the County Records Office.
Warwickshire Libraries will have a fascinating display about their wealth of services, and organisations offering support such as Age Concern, Carers Support and Safeguarding Adults will be on hand.
People will also be able to find out from the council’s Telecare team how new technologies are helping people to live independently and Trading Standards and the Police will be there to give informal advice.
Event organiser, Dawn Bluck from Warwickshire County Council, said: “We look forward to welcoming the whole community to this fun event which aims to be both informal and informative.”
