Beat the recession session to boost your employability
Free ‘job skills' drop-in sessions are being held at Nuneaton Library on Thursday, 28 May, from 9am -12 noon, offering advice on how to succeed in today's competitive job market.
As part of Warwickshire Library and Information Service’s ‘Beat the Recession’ campaign, Paul Fitzgerald of North Warwickshire & Hinckley College will be at Nuneaton Library to conduct one-to-one sessions.
Topics include CV writing, CV checking, tips on filling in applications, interview techniques, career planning, choosing courses to improve your opportunities and more. An expert in the field, Paul will help to sort it out. He can offer advice on most questions related to job search and career progression.
To make your session as productive as possible, bring along any paperwork you may have and think about what you want to ask. Anyone is welcome to drop in for a chat and some advice.
David Reed, Divisional Library Manager says: “Warwickshire Library and Information Service is thrilled to be working with North Warwickshire and Hinckley College to provide excellent, free professional advice for Nuneaton and Bedworth residents.”
