Business is blooming

The seeds of knowledge are being used by school pupils to demonstrate that they can create and run their own garden design business.

Garden Design will be big business for Years 5 and 6 at Provost William School in Ryton on Dunsmore on Wednesday 20th May when they have to work in teams to promote their garden design company, design a garden for the school, work out the cost, plan a grand opening event and present their ideas to their classmates, teachers and the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership representatives who have organised this Enterprise Experience event.

Helping the pupils keep to tight deadlines, work as a team and understand the financial element to the day will be local business representatives from Coventry Building Society, Rugby First, Legal and Construction Consultancies
and UK Railway Apprenticeships.

The event is organised by Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, to try and ensure pupils are better prepared for the world of work.

The Warwickshire Education Business Partnership relies on businesses to support their events in schools.
