Interview time at Higham Lane
Through this week Year 10 students from Higham Lane School will be having the luxury of a ‘Practice Interview’ with local businessmen and women.
From now until Friday the Nuneaton pupils will go through the interview process with genuine business leaders.
They will previously have received a Student Guidance Pack which explains the purpose of the interview and gives the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.
Business representatives will offer the students a realistic experience of undertaking an interview with employers, which most of the students will not have had the opportunity to do as yet.
The event is organised by Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, to try and ensure pupils are better prepared for the world of work.
