Digging for business ideas
Budding business brains from Year 6 at Coleshill Primary School will today be putting their garden ideas to the test as part of an Enterprise Challenge Event.
This event is organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as their commitment towards helping students of all ages become better prepared for the world of work.
Vicki Way, Area Coordinator with WEBP, says: “This is a really good opportunity for primary age pupils to experience a fun introduction to the working world and to develop their personal skills.”
The pupils will take part in fun tasks aimed at developing their teamwork, communication and organisational skills as well as using their enterprise skills, including creativity and innovation.
Their main task will be to design and promote a new garden area as part of their school grounds, including presenting their ideas at the end of the session.
