Interactive meeting to focus on North Leamington
North Leamington residents can find out how they can work together with local organisations to improve the area and make their community even stronger at an interactive meeting this week.
At the North Leamington Community Forum, people can also find out what services are available in their community.
The meeting on 18th June will also give local residents the opportunity to hear from the Leamington North Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team about what’s being done to make the area safer.
The meeting is open to anyone living in the main town centre shopping district and the residential areas of Milverton and Lillington.
Community Forums are a great way for people to find out about big issues affecting the area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making.
Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations, including Warwickshire County Council, Warwick District Council, Warwickshire Police and NHS Warwickshire.
Robert Cunliffe, Chair of North Leamington Community Forum, said: "Community Forums are more and more a key part of our local democracy. They offer people in local wards the chance to not only contribute ideas, criticisms, or even praise and discuss what’s been happening in their neighbourhood, but also for council officers and Elected Members to inform everyone about policy issues and try out proposals."
The meeting will be at 6.30pm on Thursday 18th June in North Leamington Upper School, Park Road, Leamington Spa.
