Focus on the development of Nuneaton & Bedworth
Community Forums are a real opportunity for local people to shape the future of the area in which they live in Nuneaton and Bedworth.
The quarterly meetings involve Borough and County Councillors, Warwickshire Police and local people coming together to discuss a range of issues.
These can vary from anti social behaviour, parking, the future of local schools or speed limits on local roads. The meetings are a chance for local people to raise issues with service providers and discuss actions to address them.
Two rounds of forum meetings have been held so far this year, with some 600 people attending.
Alan Farnell, Leader of Warwickshire County Council and County Councillor for Weddington said “The Community Forums are really taking off and providing a great opportunity for local people to engage with Councils and the Police. I urge people to come along and have a say about the local issues that are affecting them”
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Commander, Chief Inspector Adrian Knight said "Warwickshire Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) attend Community Forums to update communities on crime and safety information in their area and to find out what matters most to local people.
"SNTs will discuss priority issues and how they can be addressed with partner organisations and local people. All SNTs are committed to delivering 100% of agreed policing activity to support community priorities so don’t miss your opportunity to tell us what your concerns are."
