Local company sets cutting edge design and engineering challenge
Rugby based Precision Laser Processing are challenging Year 10 students at Princethorpe College to design a ‘personal space’ capsule for use in busy departure lounges in airports across the world.
The Real Context Challenge is being organised by Warwickshire Education Business Partnership and takes place at Princethorpe College on Monday 22 June.
The teams will work on the challenge during the day and present their ideas, designs and scale models to Precision Laser Processing during the finale and a winning team will be chosen.
Several business representatives including Jaguar Landrover and the RAF will also attend the event to help the students keep on track with their costs, design ideas and presentations.
