Carriages café and bike hire opens on Stratford Greenway

Former Manchester United footballer Dion Dublin will be officially opening the new Carriages café and bike hire venture at the Stratford Greenway.

Warwickshire County Council’s Stratford Greenway plays host to the private enterprise, which is now operating after gaining all the appropriate permissions from the county council and Stratford District Council.

The new café and cycle hire will be officially opening at the Stratford Greenway is on Tuesday 30th June with the ribbon being cut by footballer Dion Dublin from 7.30pm.

Refreshments will be available while the race night at Stratford race course provides entertainment for the evening.

The new café and bike hire is situated at the southern end of the Seven Meadows Road Car Park, CV37 9LE.

Owner Matt Beacham said: “Due to the success of the café at Milcote which is situated at the mid point of the Greenway, we decided it would be a good idea to have another one at the Stratford end and add a cycle hire too.”

The new café will be providing the usual all day breakfast visitors have enjoyed at the other café in addition to Paninis, pasta dishes and salads.  Matt is also looking to provide for private functions, children’s parties and evening meals in the future.
