Warwickshire’s set for a summer of fun

Young people across Warwickshire can look forward to a summer of fun during the school holidays thanks to Warwickshire County Council’s Positive about Young People programme.

Working with partners, Positive about Young People (PaYP) has put together a packed schedule of activities between 20 July and 4 September ranging from arts and crafts, to sports and music.

The majority of activities are free such as Snax ‘N’ Sports, with some charging a small fee. All activities are open to children aged between 8 and 13-years-old. Please check the website for details of individual activities.

Mark Bolton, Development Manager (Operations) for Positive about Young People, said: “Our programme of summer activity is designed to keep children active and free from boredom during the school break, whilst encouraging them to have fun and make new friends.

“We’ve been working extremely hard with our partners at the borough and district councils – as well as many other organisations involved with activities for children – to bring a varied programme, which we hope will be enjoyed by many.”
