A cereal idea worth repeating

Rugby school pupils at Avon Valley School are being challenged to come up with a new breakfast cereal, with a helping hand from some top business brains.

The Year 7 Pupils from Avon Valley School will be working on their business and enterprise skills at the Enterprise Challenge Day on Wednesday, July 1, organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership.

The students will have to work as a team to come up with a new breakfast cereal which must be well designed and appealing, have interesting ‘extras’, be environmentally friendly and come in under budget.

Helping the students to keep on task and present their Cereal Box Challenge will be business representatives from Asda, DHL, Rugby Borough Council, Rugby Rotary and Warwickshire Police

This event is organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as their commitment towards helping students of all ages become better prepared for the world of work.
