Bus plans for Stoneleigh during Royal Show

Special bus and other travel arrangements are to be in place for local people during this year’s Royal Show from 7th to 10th July.

In anticipation of the major event Warwickshire County Council has announced the special arrangements for the duration of the Royal Show at Stoneleigh.

Mike De Courcey (Tel 02476 302656) will be providing a 522 bus service linking Coventry city centre to the showground and this will additionally serve the villages of Baginton, Bubbenhall and Stoneleigh with journeys to Coventry during the period of the Show.

Allen’s taxi service (Tel 02476 555555) will be providing home to school transport for Stoneleigh children and the free on demand taxi for the public between Stoneleigh village and Kenilworth during the period of the show. Parents of the children affected will be notified individually by letter. The ‘on demand’ taxi will operate between the hours of 0915 and 1500 and between 1615 and 1800. The taxi will be free of charge to users.
