A cereal idea worth repeating

Bedworth school pupils at Ash Green School are being challenged to come up with a new breakfast cereal, with a helping hand from some top business brains.

The Year 8 students from Ash Green School will be taking on an Enterprise Challenge on Tuesday co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council.

The event will involve the 12/13 year olds taking part in a business simulation whereby they take on the role of a Promotions Agency.

The exercise will involve them using their enterprise skills to come up with a new breakfast cereal & having to put together a marketing campaign, to include corporate image, designing the box, producing advertising materials and pitching their product in a presentation to business facilitators.

The event is supported by a number of local businesses including Bedworth Civic Hall, Warwickshire Police and Jaguar Land Rover.

This event is organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as their commitment towards helping students of all ages become better prepared for the world of work.
