Students focus on finances

Teenagers at a North Warwickshire school are being given the opportunity to discover the importance of efficient personal money handling.

The 14 year olds at Kingsbury School will enjoy a day of help and guidance on Thursday, July 9.

The Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, will be delivering a session totally devoted to the many financial issues and choices which face young people today.

They will look at personal spending and budgeting, the cost of living, sales ploys, credit, etc. A number of business people will act as consultants for the students from businesses such as Coventry Building Society, Warwickshire County Council and Jaguar Land Rover.

This event is organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership as their commitment towards helping students of all ages become better prepared for the world of work.
