Summer cycle training for Warwick and Leamington youngsters

Children are being offered the chance to learn valuable cycling skills during the school holidays thanks to a scheme run by Warwickshire County Council’s Road Safety team.

Courses are available throughout the county with Warwick area courses based at Warwickshire College, Leamington Spa.

Training for young/new cyclists aged 7 to 9 takes place on Monday and Tuesday 20 and 21 July or 12 and 13 August from 9am to 10.30 am.

While those aged 9 years and over are offered on-road training Monday to Wednesday 20 to 22 July or 12 to 14 August from 11am to 1pm.

Course fees are £13 and £20 respectively, those successfully completing the training will receive certificates.
