Here comes the summer fun!

Young people aged 8 – 12 years are being invited to come along and join in the fun this summer at Lawrence Sheriff School.

The holiday club, which has been established by Warwickshire County Council’s Extended Services in partnership with Maggie Armitage, Director of Community Partnerships at Lawrence Sheriff School will run from Monday 20 July until Friday 14 August 2009 at Lawrence Sheriff School between 9am and 4pm. The cost for the day is £12.50 per child.

The activities are all themed and jam packed full of fun. Those attending can expect to explore the solar system, investigate growing crystals, take part in sporting activities and get creative with the arts.

Extended Services Co-ordinator Claire Naidoo said: “The holiday club is a great example of the kind of services provided by extended services in Warwickshire and we are hoping that it will be a real success, providing parents with the affordable childcare they need. Those taking part will be able to enjoy a range of activities from ‘stage or sports’ to creative arts and circus magic. “
