One hundred up for Stockton Primary

Stockton Primary School celebrated the end of term in style by marking their centenary with a Victorian day.

The school received a special guest, Marion Davis, Warwickshire County Council’s Strategic Director for Children, Young People and Families, who officially opened its new entrance and offices wing.

Pupils and teachers got into the spirit of the by dressing up in costumes from the Victorian era when the school had its first origins.

As Ms Davis cut the ribbon to declare the new wing open, the pupils released a hundred red balloons into the air to mark 100 years of its original buildings. A display of historical photos and artefacts was opened for parents and guest in the school hall.
