Cooking up a treat in the woods

Anyone visiting Hartshill Hayes Country Park during the school holidays will find some welcome refreshments on hand.

During the school holidays the Warwickshire County Council Country park, near Nuneaton, is offering refreshments from tea and homemade cake, to a hot dog or toasted Panini.

Refreshments will be available all through the school holidays from 11am – 5pm subject to weather.

Country Parks Visitor Manager Paula Cheesman said: “We’ve kept all the prices in line with our aim to make country parks a great value day out, so hopefully everyone should be able to enjoy something.

“Hartshill Hayes is a great park for the summer holidays, offering lots of chances to burn energy on adventure play equipment and woodland walks, and now you can enjoy afternoon tea afterwards.”
