Forum on concerns

It is the turn of Southam and Feldon residents to have their say on community issues affecting them next week.

The Southam and Feldon Community Forum meeting will take place on Tuesday 4 August at 7.15pm at Bishop Itchington Primary School which includes a presentation on Empty Homes as well as being combined with the Safer Neighbourhood Team surgery meeting earlier at 6.30pm where attendees can raise issues with their local police officers.

It will give residents the chance to discuss a range of local as well as receive feedback from concerns raised at the previous forum meeting and will be attended by representatives from County, District and Parish Councils together with other partners including Warwickshire Police.

Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.

At the last meeting in June three Safer Neighbourhood team priorities were identified:
1. Highways
2. Anti-social behaviour and
3. Acquisitive Crime
Residents also received a presentation on recycling from Robert Weeks, Head of Environment at Stratford-on-Avon District Council.
