Multi-sports fun in Nuneaton

Volleyball, football and cricket are just some of the fun activities on offer to young people in Nuneaton over the holidays, thanks to Warwickshire County Council’s Youth and Community Service.

The free multi-sports sessions, organised in partnership with the Nuneaton & Bedworth Leisure Trust, are being offered to 13 to 19-year-olds over a two week period next month, at the George Eliot School Sports Hall on Raveloe Drive.

All sessions will last for two hours between 1pm and 3pm with the first held on Tuesday 18 August. Further sessions will take place on Thursday 20, Tuesday 25 and Thursday 27 August.

Mohamed Jamil, Area Youth and Community Manager, said: “Multi-sports encourages everyone to take part in the activities as you don’t have to have a particular level of skill to join in.

“Not only does it give young people something to do over the summer break, but also promotes staying active and healthy.”
