Cavalcade of classic cars in Warwick
A cavalcade of classic cars will be rolling into Warwickshire’s County Record Office on Friday 7 August between 10.00am and 3pm.
Car enthusiasts and children alike are invited to the ‘Rev and Go’ event where they can have a look at the grand old cars of yesteryear.
It is free to see the cars and the County Council’s Heritage Education Team will be on hand with children’s activities including the chance to make a car of the future from recycled materials (£2.50 per child).
The County Council has worked in partnership with Coventry Transport Museum to stage ‘Rev and Go’ at the County Record Office, Priory Park, Off Cape Road in Warwick.
The event is part of Heritage Education’s biggest programme yet of summer family activities – 60 events across ten venues all around Warwickshire. All ages are welcome at the activities but children aged eight and under must be accompanied by an adult.
