Summer cycle training for Nuneaton youngsters

Children are being offered the chance to learn valuable cycling skills during the school holidays thanks to a scheme run by Warwickshire County Council’s Road Safety team.

Courses are available throughout the county with north Warwickshire area courses based at Manor Park School in Nuneaton.

Bikeability Level 1 for young/new cyclists aged 7 to 9 on will take place on Monday and Tuesday 17 and 18 August from 9am to 10.30am.

While those aged 9 years and over are offered on-road Bikeability Level 2 Monday to Wednesday 17to 19 August from 11am to 1pm. Course fees are £13 and £20 respectively, Those completing the training receive certificates.
