Temporary library closure
Stockingford Library will be closed for one week, from Monday August 31, for essential repairs to the floor.
The library will reopen to the public on Saturday September 5. The normal loan period for books and other items will be extended by one week so nothing will be due back during the closure period, and borrowers will not incur overdue fines as a result.
The annual Summer Reading Challenge, which encourages children to carry on reading through the school holidays, will also be extended to allow those taking part to complete the challenge and collect their goodies.
Divisional Library Manager David Reed said: "We apologise for any inconvenience but the floor repairs must be done before the new term starts for nursery children the following week."
Nearby libraries at Camp Hill, Hartshill and Nuneaton will be open as usual. For opening times please ring 02476 384027 or visit: http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries.
