Community day to discover Bermuda plans

A community day is being held in Bermuda, Nuneaton, next-week to showcase plans for a natural play area.

Bermuda Village Residents Association, working with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council, is hosting the community day on:

Saturday 5th September 2009, 10am – 3pm
Bermuda Lake and Bermuda Working Men’s Club
Nuneaton, CV10 7PW

The aim of the day is to inform people about an exciting new project that is in development for Bermuda Lake, Nuneaton.

The vision is to create a natural play area so that young people are able to enjoy this wonderful open space and learn about wildlife. The plan is to use the landscape of the lake site and using natural materials and ideas create features which encourages young people to have fun exploring, experiencing and investigating the natural world.

The day will include:

Free activities for children including making face masks, clay tile making, and willow weaving
Exhibition on proposed natural play project
Opportunity for you to tell us what you think
Free refreshments
