Even better value country parks

Families, couples and individuals are being offered the chance to pick up cut price permits which give access to all of Warwickshire’s country parks.

Already good value, the permit makes visiting country parks even cheaper, and residents can pick up a permit which gives access to all country parks from October to March 2010 for just £36.

Or, if people have their own local or favourite country park they want to keep popping along to they can get a specific park permit, these cost the following:
Kingsbury £22
Burton Dassett £11
Pooley £11
Ryton £14.50
Hartshill £11
(plus £5.00 deposit on passes)

Warwickshire County Council’s Country Parks Visitor Manager Paula Cheesman said: “Why not give up your gym membership, and try out the green gym instead? Bring your bike or your trainers and use the delightful surroundings of country parks as your backdrop to your exercise programme.

“The full year permits still offer excellent value for money, so if you visit more than a few times a year then you are sure to benefit from owning one.  From next year there will also be a new North/South permit available.
